I have SB2C-3 Helldiver VB-18, USS Intrepid, Oct. 1944 "sinking Musashi"
The model is a solid reproduction of the Helldiver and it is one of my favourite HM models.

Re: Franklin Mint 1/48 Checklist
I sold 12 of the older models through cosignment at a local hobby store. I was lucky that all of the planes had conventional camo schemes and were flown by name pilots. That leaves me with 8 still to sell but I had to do some digging to find information on them, especially a photo. Some had both an ...

Re: Franklin Mint 1/48 Checklist
I know I saw a list on the internet a while ago, but I can't find it now? The best place to look for me is Aiken's Airplanes because his site keeps many of the sold out planes on his site for reference even after they are sold out. http://www.aikensairplanes.com/fm48.htm But I know he doesn't have a...

Re: Wanted: Corgi 1/72 AA36705, Ju-88 German WW II bomber
Many of the newer models by Corgi and Hobbymaster especially seem to be produced in smaller amounts than a few years ago and a fair number of the sell out quickly. The better historical paint schemes and the well known pilots seem to be the ones that go quickly.

Re: Sopwith Camel
I was talking to Jenkins a few days ago about a Panzer I he made for a new series on the Spanish Civil War. The tank is resin and metal etched parts which is a departure from the King & Country polystone tanks. While he didn't specifically tell me what the Camel is made of, I got the impression that...

Are you looking for a list that includes the old Armour 1:48 models as well.?

Re: Buzz Buggy has landed in cajun country
Glad it looks good. I have been waiting for a D-Day C-47 in 1:72 for years. I have one on order at my local store in Toronto, so it should get there soon.

Re: Century Wings F-8 Crusader.... YEA!
Being from the Vietnam era myself, I remember the planes and have one of each of the Crusaders, Intruders etc. and really like the models. And I don't think there were good diecast versions of those planes until Century Wings did them.

Re: Century Wings F-8 Crusader.... YEA!
Maybe they are not so popular because they are Vietnam Era and not famous like the Phantom as opposed to the better known WW2 and modern F series aircraft?

The HM Skyraider looks great. It's a must have for me. Does anyone know when it will be available?

Re: Hobby Master F-100
I have the same model as well and think it is the best camo scheme of the HM F-100s IMO. Saw an interview with Schmenck on a program called Dogfights and after that, it had to be his F-100.

Re: K & C Hans-Joachim (Jochen) Marseille & his Bf 109
K&C is mainly a Tank and Toy soldier figure company and have been making tanks, AFVs and figures out of polystone for many years. I collect those items. It is only within the past year that they have started making aircraft out of polystone. They also make very limited edition wood models for $700 -...
