Re: 21C Starfighter F-104C vs. F-104G

Thank you both for confirming. Now I face the decision of looking for the F-104G just for the vertical tail stabilizer or try my hand at scratch-building the extension!

21C Starfighter F-104C vs. F-104G

Hello, With plans of depicting the Right Stuff movie Starfighter, which wasn't the NASA version it was portraying, I bought the F-104C with US Air Force livery without really thinking ahead about compatibility, assuming that I could try my hand in any modification needed. In fact, I shipped my model...

My detailed review - It does feel a little on the smallish side, but it still looks great with some neat features and gimmicks. There's already a whip attached to the back to tow your figures with and a lever that lets you move it from side to side. The retracting whip is clearly a nod to the same ...

Re: Trucks

Want more trucks? http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9134989 Interesting product description on the Walmart site. I'm kinda disappointed since the play value for this specific product is important to me: "Amazing action vehicle features include a "break-through" windshield... The ...

Thank you very much for posting the pics, Phil, and thanks to everyone else for your input. Yes, they are both georgeous! With that said, I've leaned towards the BBI version with the opening engine hatch (I'm surprised that the 21C one doesn't have this since the Tiger I has an opening engine hatch)...

Which Sherman is Better?

Hi,

I'm trying to decide which Sherman is better, the Elite Force version, or 21C's offering? I can't seem to get past the use of a number instead of the star emblem on the Elite Force Sherman, but it seems that the 21C tanks are harder to find at the Elite Force price level.

Thanks, but I recently managed to get one recently. Just curious, what is an ambush pattern Panther? I have the first Panther issued that's in the tan, brown and green camo.

Any fans of the Starfighter in the movie, The Right Stuff? Supposedly, the real Starfighter Yeager flew was the NF-104 without the wings' fuel pods and a longer vertical fin and engine exhaust than the version used in the movie. Nonetheless, it's that sequence in the movie that's impressed me since ...
