Looks great, I can't wait to see your build up. I thought it came with the fuselage halves fused together?

Re: FW TA-183 has arrived.
Thanks for the compliments.
I need to barrow a couple of Santa's elves.
For the inflight version I was offering the fuselage together or separate. Once the fuselage is fused together there's not an option to add the cockpit or landing gear.
I am finishing up YT's kit and have an order for three more.
It will be cool seeing what you guys do with them.

Re: FW TA-183 has arrived.
Try using some PVC pipe to join them together as one .
That way you can keep them strait and they wont be so fidily.

Re: FW TA-183 has arrived.
First mix up some 30min Epoxy and microballons. Spread it around the tail keeping it little away from the edge. Do this on both sides. Then align both halves and tape together. Let it sit until the epoxy sets up. Every couple minutes turn the fuselage to get an even coverage.

Then you want to do is open the intake and exhaust. I used a dremel and sanding drum. Don't worry about getting it exact right now. You just want an opening.

Once the epoxy is setup and the ends are open, mix 2-3 oz of epoxy with MB. From both ends drizzle the mix along the top and bottom seam. Tilt the fuselage from side to side spreading the mix. Keep doing this till the mix starts to thicken.

That should get you started.

cnq, sorry for the lack of updates. Getting ready for Christmas, work and Family has slowed progress
on the 183....but not stopped it.
Matthew and Nathan thanks for the tips, I hope to get back to it this weekend.
