Does anyone know of an major differences between these two aircraft that would prevent 21st from using the F-86 molds to produce Marine or Navy FJ-3s? Thanks.

Edit: I did find an article that states the fuselage was different between the two, but that the FJ-2 was nearly identical except for the engine (and the arrestor gear of course).

Okay TKO, when 21st runs out of Air Force schemes, they may want to consider this:

Pass it on.

Edit: Curses! The FJ-2 uses the slatted wing, not the 6-3 wing the 21st Sabre has. Where's that Admiral Toys thread?

flpickupman,

I have edited this post to give a good link for your own research on the project.

flpickupman,

Here is a link to Joe Baugher's web site and his research on the Fury. I have contact Joe in the past and he is one of the most informed aviation historians I know.

Anytime anyone here has a question about an aircraft I recomend that he be one of your first sources. He deals primarily in modern, but has a great list of articles.

Jason
