Custom paint?

Just saw this on e-bay:

should the paint lines on the actual aircraft be as uneven as this, or is that a mistake on the part of the customizer?

), but I believe the actual plane looked just like that. They were painted to look like tiger stripes. I guess if the lines were perfectly straight they would look like bumblebees.
