Yes they are from the Altaya "Panzer Collection" (Altaya second AFV collection). I do wonder why these and not the models from the their first set?

What is interesting about this collection is that it's already been released several months back in the UK (and at least Poland as well) under the same name "Blitz 72". In fact, there have only been 4 releases under the Blitz 72 name in the UK and they just happen to be the same 4 that are being released in North America.
What is worrisome is that Blitz 72 hasn't gone any where past the initial first 4 releases in the UK. And no, they do not follow any Altaya collection schedule. I have no doubts we will see these first 4, but it's what will follow that I wonder about given the history of Blitz 72 in the UK and Poland.

Thought I would do my first post and introduce myself, I run Tiger Hobbies Limited a UK Hobby Distributor we sell to trade and do not offer a retailer service. My company and a German company came up with the Blitz72 range. Most of you know these are based on the Altya range which is fine but can have supply problems. I have often seen these models selling for stupid prices when they should not sell for more the $20.00 which is a fair price for the models. We pick out the intresting subject from the Altya range and make sure there is a good supply situation and collectors can get their model without paying over the top prices. About 6 new release a year will be issued after the first 4. Next release will be the Cz 38T tank used by German forces in the early years of WW2. what you will not fine is Tigers, Panthers, Shermans and the like as these tanks are well covered by Altya issues are are quite cheap and good examples are still kicking round from Dragon. So we will issue recce and logistic and Artillery vehicles from both Germany and Allied forces.
Info can be found on my Website
http://www.tiger-hobbies.co.uk
Even if we do not offer a collector retail service you are welcome to contact my company to ask about release dates and futures projects.

The Next Blitz72 Model will be the Cz 38T Tank and this will arrive in the UK and USA in Apr 2011. Slight delay due to Chinese new year and the new package away from the Magazine package to a box like HM/Dragon.

I think this tank is a great choice, and hope you follow it with the Aufklärungspanzer 38(t), the SdKfz 140/1 reconnaissance tank. This is a favorite vehicle of mine, and the only difference between it and the 38(t) is the turret.
