For my first feat of magic, I'd like to make a German camp. I have the guard towers and I'm building the guard huts with "halt" gate, but I now need to make some barb wire fences. Where can I find both straight and rolled barb wire in 1/18th ???? I also figured out a way to build cool hedgehogs out of plastruct I beams too

Ok, soon the shelf diorama area will be finished for a decent display.

Now to find some cheap dragon's teeth will be nice too. Thanks !!! The General

Build-a-Rama has it here... http://www.build-a-rama.com/1_18/barbed ... e_18.shtml
In my opinion BAR is really the place to go for all your diorama and accessory needs, great selection in all the popular scales, and Mark is a great guy to deal with. I know...I probably sound like I work for the guy or something,
but BAR stuff is really top notch and at very reasonable prices for what you get. Good luck

Thanks for the info Capt.
You may have saved me a ton of money. I could pick up a bunch at Michaels tomorrow
I wonder if I used some old striped twist tie wire and wrapped it around the hanger wire, maybe tin solder it, then cut it off at an angle close to the other wire if that would work
I actually need alot of it because I'm going to make the 8' or 3 meter high fence to go around my camp that will be in my diorama. So not only do you have the horz. wire, but the vertical as well

Soldering.....whew, man I hope you have plenty of time and a lot of patience because if you need a lot of BW as you stated you're going to be soldering from now until about Xmastwist tie wire and wrapped it around the hanger wire, maybe tin solder it, then cut it off at an angle close to the other wire

If you have a Big Lots store in your area, some of the Power Team Elite figure sets and vehicle sets come with a barbed wire fence accessory. It has the barbs and doesn't look too bad, especially when you have multiples. The wires are stretched between two posts over a "dirt" base. Here's a picture of it in a PTE figure set:

The picture came from Foxhole Toys and is the best picture of the package I could find...
