Excellent work mate,Excellent work indeed :D

So you going to make TJ then & of course this means you HAVE to buy a 1/18th Ferrari & make Magnum too :D

Unless of course you can find the 3 3/4" Magnum figure that was actually made.

Again Outstanding & very inspiring too. I`m really tempted to do this too .... LOL

You could start a whole new line of "GREAT DETECTIVE VEHICLES SERIES" for BBI or 21st Century:

-Charlie's Angels -(Muscle Mustang with built in nail dryer)
-Mannix (Did he even drive a car or take a bus to the scene of the crime?)
-Barnaby Jones with NEW! cool car phone
-Cannon (Sedan with extra suspension)
-MacGiver (Jeep with swiss army knife)

Of course to make the line appeal to the kids, each vehicle would have to morph into a transformer type robot to fight crime.

If I ran the toy companies... 8)

I think Peggy drove Mannix where ever he needed to go. But you forgot a few:

CHiPS..."Paunch" and Jon now on tricked out trikes.
Car 54...Redesigned 54 Chevy sedan courtesy of Monster Garage.
Highway Patrol...Broderick Crawford in Viper Pursuit.
Miami Vice...Sunny in a Yugo (budget cuts!!!)
Blue Thunder....Transformer (need I say more?)

Good news: great paintjob - nice work.

Bad news: it's a Hughes 500, not a Bell! (Well, strictly speaking it's now a McDonnell Douglas Helicopters MD500, and would have been a Boeing Helicopters MD500 for a while as well, but she sure ain't a Bell!)

I think the T-tail was first introduced on the D-model for the civvie market after first use on the militarized Hughes 500 Defender...

Actually, Hughes Helicopter Division first intro'd the T-tail on their civilian version and the military adopted it when the altered the D for military uses. One of the first public viewed D's was the Magnum PI series....

Magnum is having another flashback and is now solving a case in Iraq. TC his faithful partner was conned into helping once again but this time the fuel cost may be more than Magnum could ever pay back. Stay tuned as Magnum solves another case with help from the voice in his head.Image
