Custom barbed wire
I thank those who refered me to the site that carries rolled barb wire, but it'd cost me a mint to do my camp's fences
So I've deceided to make my own. I'm using 26 or 24 gauge rolled wire and am inter-twining 2 pieces together with a barb about every 3/8 to 1/2 inch. Time consuming this is, but I will have something that IS barbed wire and not something that looks like barbed wire with notches instead of actual barbs and that's from a distance too. I know, I received some in an Evil bay transaction and am glad I didn't invest in the $8 for 3 10-12" pieces. So when I get the first few sections of the fence built, I will post a few pictures and see what y'all think. One things for sure, it WILL hurt you if you lean into it or brush your hand across it
Prickly stuff this barbed wire will be

I do the same for all my Barb wire i got the idea off of a modeling site but i can't remember which one. It is a great technique especially as it save loads of $ i have just started making my own sandbags too and am already up to 300 i could never have afforded so many if i bought them off line.
Looking forward to your fence! BTW if you want to curve it it's easy to do just get a thick tube and wrap it around it just be careful of those barbs!
