Tinywarriors 1:18 plane sale

Post by vulgarvulture » Fri Aug 29, 2008 7:40 pm

I've never done business with this outfit, but these sale prices on 1:18 21st Century planes are outstanding:

http://tinywarriors.weblodge.net/aircra ... e-c-1.html

I'm always a little leary of etailers who don't list full contact information (street address, phone number, etc.. And if you note under the Privacy Notice section, they reference SmallJoes.com by accident...must have copied it from Smalljoes). But I thought I'd just post this website anyway in case anyone was interested.

the price on yellow 7 262 is very good. Im sure you can trust them since you'd be paying with credit card or paypal. Both are very safe.

thanks for the link.

Pretty decent selection of other stuff, too, including reenactment gear...

just an fyi. I ordered 2 planes from Tiny Warriors on Sept 1. I emailed on Friday asking for tracking info and received a response today that one of the planes i ordered was out of stock but should be in today or tomorrow and my order will ship then.

So, at least a 2 week delay in shipping and no contact from the seller to inform me of the delay.

Not so good.

Anyone else order from them?

Just to be safe as you previously stated aferg whoever orders from them better for sure use Paypal or a cc. Although Paypal isn't always helpful as we all know. I recently ordered an item direct from Del Prado and it was junk because they thru the item loose in the box with no packing plus it was missing the book that was to come with it. Contacted Del Prado and boy they really couldv'e cared less that I was dissatisfied. Tried to file a buyer complaint with Paypal...no dice. Think I'll contact PP again, may have just got a bonehead the first time. The Paypal payment was funded from my balance and not a cc unfortunately.

Maybe its just me but I don't see any savings on the 1:18 scale aircraft. Perhaps I just missed it. I'm simply comparing the excitement here to our regular and very competative prices. Please forgive me if I read this wrong. :?

Looks like the sale is over. I got Yellow 7 for $50 and Rudel's stuka for $51.

My order has supposedly shipped now, btw. Nothing showing up on the tracking info yet but it was just shipped out yesterday.

Yeah, prices aren't much better than anywhere else now, and Aferg, your order will show up in about 2 weeks.
