does the Hartmann 109 come with decals?

i just opened my new Hartmann 109 that i got from Aviatornut....great price, great service.

Anyway, do they come with swastika decals? I don't see any but i'm always afraid i''ll miss stuff like that, in all the packaging.

I don't recall them coming in mine. Should be easy to find some, however.

I agree, the Hartmann Bf-109 is an excellent piece - one of the best WWII Luftwaffe aircraft done in this scale to date. I say this in terms of its accurate paint scheme, tooling, functions, and history.

Monkey depot should have them for like $0.50. Get the ME262 decals and BF109 decals in 1/18. The stuka decals are the same as the me262 decals, you just get two more with the Me262 sheet.

By the way, I ordered two, both of mine have problematic canopies...
They don't close right, anyone else have this problem?

the monkey had no decals so i ordered them from smalljoes....stocked up with 3 sheets. Anticipating good things in the future.

OK, I'll admit the canopy is probably the weakest part of the model - in a certain sense. I think it looks good, etc, however it doesn't hold shut like the 21c plane. Not sure why it was designed this way - a longer plastic tab would have solved the problem. You can sort of get the figure to lean back slightly against the headrest to hold the canopy in place.
