Lucky Finds!!!!

Hi,went to my Toys-r-us and found the super humvee and picked up two of them...There great,also picked up the Kiowa helicopter there also..then went to the mall what did I find at KB's the powerteam cargo humvee,if you do not have these they are cool........that makes my humvee stock even bigger.....I have 2 desert strike humvees from gijoe,2 jungle strike 2,XD humvee2, super humvee and 1 bbi elite force camo humvee and the powerteam cargo humvee.......also had recevied the powerteam tower playset that I ordered from KB Toys online.....this is awesome the tower,a ATV,a really cool MUTT Jeep thats right nice addition too any set....as far as jeeps I have all the XD ones and now the powerteam one.....also had ordered 2 eastern warriors the XD ones they are cool as well.got them from a place on the web called Dragon military action figures and Gijoe check them out they have most XD figures for 5.99 each and your order is shipped to you fast.....

You have quite a collection of Humvees there! I think part of what makes this hobby interesting is the tracking down of items you really want and finding them unexpectedly at a good price! Congrats on your great find!

I was also out and about looking for any good deals on XD. I actually found the XD M 113 transport on clearance for $4.25. I couldn't believe it I had held out for this one since I mainly collect planes but I couldn't refuse at that price. The lowest I had seen previously in the area was $25.00. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or what, but they only had one and the box was pretty toasted but I planned on opening anyway. Nothing else discounted here in the XD line. Saw mainly FW 190's still at $39.98. I just had to share my good fortune.

$4.25 for a vehicle that retails at $40 is a darn good deal! I got mine for $10 (busted box as well) and was happy as a clam with that purchase, especially since Wal Marts in my area have a tendency not to discount XD items. It seems like a number of us (I think) have gotten the M113s at discount. Thats kind of funny as figures and baggage aside, its actually a pretty good vehicle. If small retailers eventually get M113s, they'll probably go for around $50, making your discount all the sweeter!
